Freeloader: New story in X-R-A-Y Magazine

My first lit mag publication!

Starting the new year off with my first literary magazine acceptance in X-R-A-Y magazine.

This is a simple a flash story I wrote about a homeless person.

I intended to make despair an effect of this particular story. We watch people die on the street every day. If they ask for help, we're openly disgusted with them.

They deserve it. Right?

For several days I have been followed by a man I cannot see— a man who presses his nose to the back of my head, who laughs quietly whenever I whirl around only to confront empty space. He casts no reflection. He never speaks. Who the fuck are you, I yell. Why are you doing this to me.

“Enjoy” my story– free to read from X-R-A-Y literary magazine.
